1.Chicken Pillows
Chicken Pillows
Ingredients
- FOR THE ASSEMBLY:
- 2 cans 8 Oz. Size Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
- ¼ cups Butter Melted
- 2 cups Italian Breadcrumbs
- FOR THE FILLING:
- 8 ounces weight Cream Cheese, Softened
- ½ cups Sour Cream
- ½ teaspoons Salt
- ¼ teaspoons Pepper
- 1-½ Tablespoon Minced White Onion
- 1-½ Tablespoon Dried Chives
- 3 whole Chicken Breasts Cooked And Diced
- FOR THE GRAVY:
- 1 package 0.87 Chicken Gravy Mix
- 1 can 14.5 Ounce Cream Of Chicken Soup
- ¾ cans Water use The Soup Can
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Put together the filling by: To thoroughly incorporate the cream cheese and sour cream, use a hand mixer to give them a good beating. If your cream cheese is soft enough, you should be able to complete this step by hand. Mix in cubed chicken, salt, pepper, onion, and chives, then stir in the mixture.
- When working with crescent rolls from Pillsbury, take two of the triangle-shaped pieces of dough and press them together at the perforated seam to form a square. It is essential that you properly seal the holes in order to prevent the contents from escaping. In the middle of each square, place approximately three teaspoons' worth of the chicken mixture. Create a pillow shape by folding the dough's four corners towards the middle and covering the chicken mixture with it.
- Butter should be melted and brushed on both sides of each cushion. Both sides should be rolled with bread crumbs.
- Remove any extra crumbs by shaking it. Cook chicken pillows on a baking sheet for 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit after placing them there.
- In a small saucepan, prepare gravy by combining three ingredients: one box of chicken gravy mix, one can of cream of chicken soup, and three quarters of a can of water. Combine everything, then heat it up until it's comfortable. Serve schicken pillows with gravy drizzled over top.

2.Chicken Pillows
Chicken Pillows
Ingredients
- 1 8 oz can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- ¼ cup butter softened
- 2-3 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- 1 egg
- 1 sleeve Saltine Crackers crushed
- SAUCE TOPPING
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- ¼ cup milk
- 2 spoons full sour cream
- ½ cup shredded cheese
Instructions
- Set the oven temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Bring a block of cream cheese and a quarter cup of butter to room temperature. After that, whisk the mixture until it is completely smooth. To the bowl, add cooked chicken shreds that have been cooked.
- Arrange the crescents in a circular pattern on a baking sheet. Extend the shape of the crescent.
- To finish filling the crescent, place a couple of spoonfuls of the creamy chicken mixture in the middle of the crescent. The crescent should then be folded over the filling until there is no trace of it visible. I'm going to refer to this item as the "cushion."
- In a separate, smaller bowl, add the egg and a tiny amount of water, perhaps a couple of tablespoons' worth, and mix them together until the egg is thoroughly combined with the water.
- Coat the "cushion" in the egg that has been mixed. After putting it through the egg-mixing process, you should next put it through the saltine-crumbling process and lay it on a cookie sheet. Continue in this manner with the remaining seven crescents.
- Bake the pillows at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for twenty minutes. Watch them carefully since the oven may cook them more quickly than you expect.

At what temperature does chicken fall off the bone?
165°F
Cook for another 20 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest section of the thigh reads 165 degrees Fahrenheit. The chicken is done when the flesh readily separates from the bone, so take it off the fire when it reaches that point, keep it covered, and wait an hour.
Can I cook chicken at 250 degrees?
ROAST. Throw the chicken in the oven at 250 degrees for three to four hours (the time may vary depending on the size of the chicken) with a pot of boiling water. The chicken should be basted twice throughout that time.
3.CHICKEN PILLOWS WITH CREAMY PARMESAN SAUCE
CHICKEN PILLOWS WITH CREAMY PARMESAN SAUCE
Ingredients
- Filling:
- 4 large large boneless skinless chicken breasts about 2 1/2 – 3 pounds
- 2 packages 8-ounces each light or regular cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Rolls and Coating:
- 1 batch buttery crescent rolls
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 2 cups panko bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Parmesan Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cube chicken bouillon or 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup sour cream light or regular
Instructions
- To get started, you need to cook the chicken (or use already cooked, shredded chicken). The approach that I find to be the most successful is to place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker along with two cups of chicken stock, salt, and pepper, and then set the slow cooker to simmer on the lowest setting for six hours. Once it is cooked and has had some time to cool off, the chicken should be shredded or broken up into little pieces. Mix the chicken, cream cheese, garlic powder, and salt in a medium bowl until everything is evenly distributed and thoroughly blended. Put away or store in the refrigerator until you are ready to use it.
- Follow the instructions in the recipe to make the buttery crescent rolls, but after the first rise, deflate the dough and cut it in half. Each piece of dough should be rolled into a rectangle of 13 by 20 inches, and each rectangle should be cut into 12 pieces (cutting lengthwise in half and then each half into six pieces). Flatten each piece of dough individually with the palm of your hand before filling it with approximately a quarter cup of the chicken and cream cheese mixture. After folding in each of the sides, firmly pinching them together will ensure a good seal.
- After all of the chicken pillows have been created, mix the panko crumbs and the Parmesan cheese together in a bowl or a dish with a flat surface (like a pie plate). Roll each chicken pillow in the mixture of panko and Parmesan cheese after first dipping it one at a time in the melted butter. Placing them with the seam side down and leaving approximately 2 inches of space between each one on baking pans that have been lined with parchment paper, a silpat liner, or have been oiled moderately.
- Bake in an oven that has been prepared to 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the chicken pillows have a light golden brown color and the dough is completely cooked.
- While the buns are in the oven, you may start making the sauce. Butter will be melted in a pot of medium size. After incorporating the flour with a whisk, continue heating the mixture over medium heat for one to two minutes while stirring it continuously until it is golden brown and bubbling. After the milk has been added in its entirety, mix in the chicken bouillon, salt, and pepper using a whisk. The milk should be added in a slow, steady stream. Continuously stir the sauce over medium heat until it bubbles and thickens, which should take between 5 and 10 minutes. Make sure to adjust the heat as needed to prevent the sauce from burning on the bottom of the pan. After incorporating the Parmesan cheese, continue cooking while stirring throughout the duration of the melting process. Take the sauce off the heat and add the sour cream while stirring constantly. If more liquid is required, you may thin the sauce with more milk.
- To serve, remove the rolls from the oven and sprinkle them with the Parmesan cream sauce while they are still warm.

How do you cook meat so it falls off the bone?
Cooking under wet heat, such as braising or roasting, is optimal because heat and moisture work together to break down connective tissue into gelatinous deliciousness that slips off the bone.
What temperature do you pull chicken?
All of the aforementioned applies to chicken as well. We suggest removing the meat at 155°F (68°C) and then tenting it with foil to preserve temperature for a few minutes since time and temperature will impact the safety of the chicken.
4.Easy Chicken Pillows Recipe
Easy Chicken Pillows Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups Cooked Shredded Chicken
- 8 ounce Crescent Rolls package 8 count
- 8 ounces Cream Cheese
- 3 Green Onions chopped
- 1/4 cup Celery chopped fine
- 1/2 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
- 1/8 teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Instructions
- Take the crescent rolls out of their packaging, divide them, and then unroll them.
- Chicken, cream cheese, green onions, celery, grated cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder should all be combined in a mixing bowl. Stir thoroughly.
- Place approximately two tablespoons worth of the chicken mixture inside of each crescent roll.
- Bake in a baking dish that doesn't stick for 13 to 16 minutes at 350 degrees, or until the top is golden brown.
- If you find it difficult to work with the triangle, you may build larger ones by using two rolls folded together into a rectangle and then cutting it in half. Since you are using two rolls, simply increase the amount of filling by a factor of two.
- We put chicken gravy on top of them before we eat them. (or a can of Cream of Chicken soup, which should be diluted with a small amount of milk) Savor the flavor!

5.Chicken Pillows
Chicken Pillows
Equipment
- Cookie Sheet
- Mixing Bowls
- Sauce Pan
Ingredients
- 2 tubes crescent rolls *8 count tubes you'll have 16 crescents
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 cups chicken *cooked/shredded
- 1 egg
- 1 sleeve saltine crackers *crushed
- 1 can cream of chicken soup *10.5oz can
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Turn the oven up to 400 degrees.
- In a larger bowl, combine the butter and cream cheese and mix until smooth. After the mixture is smooth, add the chicken. Mix until blended.
- Place crescents on a baking sheet and spread them out before stretching them. Put a couple spoonfuls of the chicken mixture in the center of the crescent and cover it with more crescents. Make sure that none of the mixture is exposed by folding the crescent around it. This is the reason why they are nicknamed "pillows." After the crescents have been filled, you should have a total of sixteen.
- In a low-sided bowl, whisk together one egg and two tablespoons of water until the mixture is uniform.
- Your saltine crackers should be smashed and placed in a second, smaller bowl.
- Take one chicken pillow at a time and dip it first in the egg mixture, then in the combination of saltine cracker crumbs. Return the chicken pillow to its original position on the baking sheet.
- Bake in the oven for approximately twenty minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- In the meantime, combine the milk and cream of chicken soup in a pot and boil it over medium.
- Mix everything together and make sure it's nice and toasty.
- When the chicken pillows are finished cooking, place them on a platter and pour the warm "gravy" mixture over the top!
