Ingredients
  

  • Chicken Marination
  • 500 gms chicken cut in cubes
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp White pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder or garlic paste
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Corn flour
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • Oil for frying
  • Sauce
  • 1/4 cup chili oil
  • 4 cloves of Chopped garlic
  • 6 tbsp Honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Red Chili powder
  • A pinch of Orange food color
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • Sesame seeds to sprinkle
  • 1 big red capsicum bell pepper cut in square
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • 1/3 cup Tomato paste
  • 1 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Chicken cubes should be marinated with all the ingredients for chicken marination for at least two hours or overnight.
  • The marinated chicken is deep fried until golden brown and then placed aside.
  • Add one tablespoon of chile oil to a wok and sauté the bell peppers over a high temperature; then, set it aside.
  • Add the remaining chile oil to the same wok, then cook the chopped garlic until browned.
  • Stir a little before adding 1 cup of water and the chili powder.
  • Add all of the additional sauce ingredients once the water has begun to boil, and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Now stir in the bell peppers and fried chicken, coating everything thoroughly.
  • Cook the chicken for an additional three minutes before serving.
  • Sesame seeds and finely sliced green onions go on top.

Notes

To make a saucier dragon chicken, add extra water.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb boneless chicken
  • 8 oz fresh broccoli s cut into bite-sized piece
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger grated
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ¼ cup water or chicken stock
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 large red bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 8 oz mushrooms

Instructions
 

  • Trim the fat off the chicken thighs and then cut them into bite-sized pieces. Vegetables should be cut into uniform-sized pieces (about the same size as the chicken pieces).
  • Broccoli should be steamed or sautéed until it's little tougher than you want it and then set aside.
  • Stir the soy sauce, vinegar, honey, spicy sauce, Sriracha sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and two-thirds of the garlic in a sizable bowl until well combined. Place aside.
  • Sprinkle some salt and pepper on the chicken.
  • Over high heat, warm a sizable skillet or wok with a heavy bottom. Oil is added in 2 tablespoons. Add chicken in a single layer once the oil is heated. Continually stirring while browning the chicken. Take the cooked chicken out of the pan and place it aside.
  • Add the remaining oil, garlic, pepper, mushrooms, and onion to the same skillet. Mixing regularly, cook vegetables until they are crisp and tender.
  • Stir in the sauce, add the cooked broccoli, and heat for a further minute or two until thickened. Salt should be added as needed after seasoning.
  • Before serving, stir in the chicken to fully rewarm it.

Notes

Before stir-frying, always make sure your wok or pan is blistering hot.
If you are preparing food for a large number of people, cook the chicken in batches if necessary. Avoid letting your chicken steam.

  • The first step in making your marinade is to grind the ginger and garlic into a paste. Salt, soy sauce, and paprika should be added to it. It can be put in a bowl or a bag with the chicken added. With that, wipe the chicken down. at the very least one hour.
  • In a large bowl, beat the egg, then add the water and corn starch to make a slurry. More water can be added if necessary.
  • In a big pan, heat 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
  • After dredging the chicken in the cornstarch mixture, fry the pieces in the oil for 6-7 minutes, or until they are crisp. Chicken should be taken out and put aside for now.
  • The onion, peppers, and cashew nuts are then added after roughly half of the leftover oil has been drained from the pan. To soften, simmer them for around 5 minutes.
  • Cook for another minute after adding the garlic and ginger.
  • Add the sugar, tomato sauce, soy sauce, chicken stock, garam masala, and garam powder. Depending on your preferences, season with salt and pepper.
  • About 10 minutes of high heat cooking with frequent stirring is required for the sauce to decrease. Add a little more stock if it becomes too thick.
  • When the chicken is heated through and coated, add the cooked chicken and simmer for a further couple of minutes.
  • Decorate and serve!

Notes

Dragon Chicken can be served over rice or on its own.
Heat Index: Mild to Medium. With more potent chili peppers, spicier chili flakes, and a few dashes of your preferred hot sauce, you can easily amp up the heat. The hot sauce would fit in perfectly.

  • Take the chicken and combine it with all the marination ingredients in a bowl. 15 minutes of marinating after a thorough mixing. Heat some oil for deep frying right now. The chicken should be dropped into the heated oil and fried until golden. Drain and reserve.
  • Oil in a frying pan is now heating. Cashews should be fried till golden brown after being added along with dry red chili.
  • Onions and bell peppers have now been added. Toss well in the oil.
  • Sauté for one minute after adding the ginger-garlic paste.
  • As you mix, add the red chili paste, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, salt, and ajinomoto.
  • Cook this for a few minutes, or until the water is gone and the sauce has thickened.
