- 1 tsp thyme

- The chicken breast that was baked is now ready to be served.
Notes
Use your favorite spices. Rosemary and paprika work well as seasonings for anything, but lemon and butter are other good options.
After 15 minutes, check on the progress of the chicken breast in the oven. If it's required, you should turn it. The temperature on the inside should be at about 75 degrees.

What kind of oil does KFC use?
No, peanut oil is not used in the production of Kentucky Fried Chicken products. They are committed to being able to provide meals for as many customers as is humanly feasible, therefore they make an effort to steer clear of some of the foods that cause the most prevalent allergic reactions, such as peanuts. Canola oil and hydrogenated soybean oil are the types of oils that are utilized by the quick-service restaurant company.
What is the best oil to fry chicken?
Consider canola oil, peanut oil, and vegetable oil as examples. Olive oil and butter both have smoke values that are lower than other oils, so avoid using them. Between 350 and 365 degrees Fahrenheit is the best temperature range for frying chicken, and you’ll want to make sure that the oil is brought back up to temperature in between batches of chicken.
5.Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings
Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings
Ingredients
- 4 Chicken Breasts boneless, skinless
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1 Can Cream of Celery Soup
- 3½ Cups Chicken Broth
- 1 cup white or yellow Onion diced
- 1 Cup Celery diced
- 1 Cup Carrots diced
- 2 Chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- 1 Tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 10 oz. can of refrigerated biscuits*
- * OR make your own biscuits. I’ve also made dumplings out of the Bisquick dough for this recipe before – pictured above – so it works well either way.
Instructions
- I used a crock pot/slow cooker with 5.5 quarts of capacity. It would also work with six pints.
- Put all of the ingredients, with the exception of the biscuits, into the slow cooker or crock pot.
- Cook for around six hours on a low setting. (If your crock pot cooks hot, check it after five hours; if it cooks food more rapidly than usual, set it to change itself automatically to the warm setting.) Remove the chicken about an hour before serving, and using two forks, rip it apart into bits; however, leaving it in large parts is OK. Then, add the chicken back into the broth mixture.
- Tear raw biscuits into halves or quarters, depending on their size, and pour them on top of the soup mixture for 45 minutes before serving. During this time, make sure the cover is on the pot so that the biscuits may steam and cook completely.
- After forty-five minutes, they should have expanded due to the heat and become fluffed. When you are ready to serve them, check to see that they are not doughy in the middle, and serve them hot.
