What is in a Qdoba chicken Bowl?

Which is better Chipotle or Qdoba?
It’s a tight race; both chains provide comparable items, and the quality of their components is comparable as well. However, in my opinion, Qdoba comes out on top due to its cheaper costs, complimentary guacamole and queso add-ons, and the availability of queso in general. It came as a complete surprise to me, but Qdoba came out on top, with Chipotle following close after.
2.Qdoba Grilled Chicken (Copycat Recipe)
Qdoba Grilled Chicken (Copycat Recipe)
Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
- Chicken Marinade
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar sub lime juice
- ¾ tsp oregano
- 1 tsp chipotle powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- To Serve
- cilantro chopped
- lime sliced
Instructions
- Place the chicken thighs and two tablespoons of olive oil inside of a big bag that has the ability to be sealed. Combine them first, then add the rest of the ingredients, except the olive oil that is left over. Combine in order to incorporate. After ensuring that the chicken is well coated in the spice mixture, close the bag securely and place it in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
- Prepare the grill for cooking over medium-high heat. After transferring the chicken that has been marinated to the grill, continue cooking it until it is golden brown on both sides and reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. (The amount of time needed to cook the chicken thighs may vary based on their size, but it took approximately 6-7 minutes on each side for mine.)
- Place the chicken on a large chopping board or plate, and let it to rest for at least 5 minutes.
- After slicing (or chopping!) the chicken, finish the dish by topping it with chopped cilantro and lime juice that has been freshly squeezed. ENJOY!
